The location offers easy access for shopping, and the downstairs bar area is tastefully designed, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. the accommodation is dated, with shabby and unkempt rooms that do not match the charm of the dining experience. The food remains a highlight, providing quality meals that are worth returning for. Despite the staff being friendly, the overall condition of the rooms was disappointing and needs significant improvement.

This place suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, a relaxing bar, and a cozy restaurant. Staff helped me exchange money on my first visit, and I remember their warm welcome. I’ll be back for Christmas!

Consider asking for a room in the main building for better accessibility and less noise.

It was just a smart choice for a lightning trip in Street with real value for money. The chips we had were the best I’ve ever experienced—crispy outside, tender inside, couldn’t get enough of them! Definitely try the chips when stopping by.

I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in the bar. The staff greeted me warmly every time I came in. The food options were also pretty good, especially breakfast. I loved the variety available. The family room was spacious and actually quite comfortable. the room did have some maintenance issues. The heating wasn't great. I noticed the bathroom could use some updates, as it seemed a bit worn. Plus, the noise from the adjacent rooms was noticeable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Still, the location is fantastic, right by all the shops. I would stay here again but hope for a quieter room next time.

My family and I had a great stay while visiting the local attractions. The family room was spacious and clean, providing ample space for everyone. We enjoyed the diverse dining options available, especially the reasonably priced meals in the pub. One downside was the noise from the kitchen's extractor fan on a particularly hot day, but the friendly staff quickly provided us with a fan which helped alleviate the discomfort.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff
We had a nice stay. The vibe at the pub was awesome and the staff were really chill and helpful. The only bummer was that it felt a bit understaffed on that busy Sunday. The fish and chips I had were surprisingly good too. Wish they had a better selection of beers at the bar.

Had a fantastic getaway with friends! We celebrated a birthday and got together for a fun weekend. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious, especially breakfast. The location is perfect for shopping and exploring. A great spot if you're planning a shopping trip.
We had a bit of a hassle with parking. it was frustrating trying to pay and ultimately receiving a fine despite our efforts. So be careful about parking arrangements.

missingWrote a review on Jun 12noisy rooms
The reception area, located right in a busy bar, felt awkward as I maneuvered through guests to locate it, and there was minimal assistance from the bar staff. My detached room had peeling wallpaper and the bathroom experienced poor drainage, leaving me standing in a puddle while showering. Meal times were frustrating, particularly the lengthy wait for food which interrupted my evening plans, with one dish arriving incorrectly despite special instructions. Lastly, the noise from adjoining rooms was quite disruptive during the night, limiting my ability to relax fully.
